Properties

The main beneficial properties attributed to certified organic bitter almonds are due to the presence of vitamin B17.

Taken in limited doses, this food can have a curative effect even for serious pathologies.

In fact, this variety of almonds contains potentially toxic substances which give it the typical bitter taste.

The amygdalin which is a cyanogenic glucoside, contained in them, breaks down during the digestive process and is thus able to release a toxic substance such as hydrogen cyanide.
