Characterized by a dark colour, tending towards black and by a soft and juicy pulp, the organic dried sour cherry has a more sour and bitter taste than cherries, with no extraneous tastes. Naturally rich in mineral salts and vitamins, organic dried black cherries have a low caloric value, are rich in fiber present in the peel and have a moderate satiating power. Black cherries are found mainly in the months of May and July. These plants adapt well to the Mediterranean climates of the hinterland, the black cherry plant needs a lot of light and air.

It is advisable to keep the loose organic dried black cherry in a dry place, in a closed jar or in a food bag, away from sources of light and heat.
