Uses in the kitchen

The loose organic small chickpeas are a variety of peeled chickpea.

This feature favors quick soaking and cooking.

For the preparation they must be placed in plenty of cold water, without salt and brought to the boil over low heat.

From the boil you can add the salt and they cook in about 2 hours.

It is possible to flavor the cooking water with bay leaf or Kombu seaweed.

Once boiled, the loose organic small chickpeas can be used as a condiment for pasta or other cereals, as an ingredient in salads, dressed with extra virgin olive oil, or they can be used as an ingredient in broths, soups and stews.

Their combination is excellent with all types of fish, and they are also used as a filling for tomatoes, courgettes or other baked vegetables.
