Uses in the kitchen

Organic Rice Loose Blend is made from red, black and wild brown rice.

This mix with a typical rustic and tasty flavor is ideal for use in the kitchen to make delicious risottos, salads, soups and fillings.

It is advisable to keep it in a cool, dry place, well ventilated and away from sources of light and heat.

To prepare the loose organic rice mix, boil 2 cups of water, add 1 cup of rice mixture and cook over low heat for about 35-45 minutes, until the water has been absorbed.

At this point, season the tasty rice mix as desired.

Properties

The red rice contained in the loose organic rice mix is an excellent antioxidant; contains vitamin B6 and mineral salts such as iron, magnesium and zinc; it also reduces cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

The black rice present in the loose organic rice mix is very rich in phosphorus, magnesium, iron and selenium, as well as vitamins. It can therefore be important in diets that require these substances. The real strength, for which it fears no comparison, is its antioxidant content.

Wild Rice is an important source of phosphorus, magnesium and potassium, just to mention minerals, and vitamins such as vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), vitamin B3 (Niacin), vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and folate.
