Organic Rosa Marchetti rice is a prized and traditional variety of Italian rice.

It was introduced in 1972 by Domenico Marchetti who discovered it and dedicated it to his wife Rosa.

It belongs to the group of "medium" rices and has a natural (non-hybrid) origin.

Its medium-sized grain is excellent for risottos and salads.

In fact, the characteristics of pink Marchetti rice guarantee an exceptional resistance to cooking and an ability to bind with all the ingredients.

Cooking times: indicative from 6 (in a pressure cooker) to 16 minutes.

Properties

This rice contains many mineral salts such as iron and phosphorus and is naturally rich in vitamin B1.
